Adesh Institute of Engineering and Technology(AIET), Faridkot was established in 1996 with aim of providing high quality education in Engineering and Technology with a close interaction with industry. This institute has grown steadily in size and activities during the last decade of its existence. Over 1500 engineers who have graduated from AIET are well placed in renowned industries.
It is a self-supporting, self-financed and privately managed institute, developed on a 30-acre piece of land. AIET is situated on the main Faridkot-Sadiq Road and is 12 km from Railway station/ city Bus-stand. Academic knowledge is imparted by eminent teachers exposing the students to current industrial aspects through Industry-Institute interaction at appropriate levels.

Admission to all courses (B.Tech /M.Tech/MBA) in this Institute made according to the directions of the Punjab Technical University (PTU). Website: www.ptu.ac.in
The following two competitive examinations form the basis of admission to all B.Tech courses, in order of merit.
* 1. All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE)
(15% category - for student from all over India)
* 2. Combined Entrance Test (CET) by PTU
(85% category - for student resident of Punjab)
Admission under the Management Category is allowed after the completion of counseling by PTU on the basis of AIEEE and CET merit. The Unfilled seats, If any are added to the (1/3rd) seats under Management Quota, as per prescribed rules.
Latest Entry to the second year of the (four year) B.Tech. Courses are allowed for candidates holding (Three year) Diploma in Engineering. The maximum number of such (LEET) seats is restricted to 10% of the approved intake in each course.
